What are Elders and Representives?
Elders -
A small group of people who constantly remain in the council and are not elected. The only way they can cease to be in office is by quitting the position or the Night World all together.

Representives -
These people are elected and voice the ideas and complaints of all other members. They may bring to light several things that the Elders miss. *Who's perfect, right?*
Reps are elected on a yearly basis, to take office by Febuary 1st. The number of them may change as well at election time, based on total member numbers. Every member has the opprotunity to become one if they wish *minus those who are Elders*. The quanity of Reps for the year is determined proceeding the start of election time. Once number is determined, every member has two weeks to nominate his or her choice for reps. *Yes, you can nominate yourself.*

Duties

Right now the duties of the Council are small. We go through character requests, decide soulmates for those who have none, figure out if a human character may really be a a lost witch or an Old Soul, as well as a few other things. Some of the council members also contribute other means of spending time in order to help NW. To them, lots of thanks.
