She was then adopted by a family of cat shapeshifters, and learned to defend herself (fight) from a human girl, a slayer turned Daybreaker. Calia later turned traitor and killed the girl. She is feared by slayers and the Night World alike, and neither side trusts her. She moves to a different town or city every six months, trying to wipe out all slayers.
