More Information: She had never had a particular problem with humans or Night Worlders, preferring to get along with everyone. After leaving home, she spent most of her life in panther-form, preying on deer and the occassional farm animal. Killing for a cause - especially killing humans - never crossed her mind . . . until she met the dark, handsome bear lumbering through the forest. Sensing that he was a 'shifter, as well, her curiosity goaded her into helping him, especially when the human he'd been tracking turned on him. He shifted into human after she'd killed the man, bleeding from an ugly gash in his side. It only took one look from those gold-brown eyes and she knew she was his forever.

Mahon was everything a girl could hope for . . . strong, loyal, and bound to her through the almost magical soulmate threads. Only problem was that he was a hireling of the Council - and hated humans with a passion. She cared for him as he healed, and when he left the forest, she went with him. She is not nearly as devoted to the Council as he is, but her loyalty to HIM is unbreachable.
