A world covered by endless water, eh? Sounds familiar, don't it? Don't panic, though, there're no mutated Kevin Costners in Mega Man Legends, so let's thank God for small favours. MML has pasty colours, average music and the worst controls of any 3D game I've ever played... But damn, ain't it fun! Seriously, this game has claws that'll grab you by the guts and refuse to let go 'till you're all done. It's that addictive. I played nonstop, aside from that fact that I got bad motion sickness from the wierd controls and migranes from exploring identical passageways. The game's biggest appeal is, without a doubt, the characters. Very few games can get you so attatched to the characters in such a short span of time (the game will last about 12 hours). Mega and Roll are there, of course, but it's the villians that really shine in this game, namely, The Bonnes. A close family of pirates. And then there's Juno ... the ultimate birth control ... and my favourite villian in the entire MM series. :) Aside from characters, charm blooms everywhere in this game. It never takes itself seriously, but it tells a great story at the same time. Plus, there's lots of Capcom's trademark innuendo for us sick types (you can't really read the dirty magazines at any point in the game, so stop trying!) But now we're getting into spoiler country, ma! So here's where I divide things up into sections if you wish to learn more about the Adventures of Mega, Roll, and Data the Perverted Monkey on Kattelox Island! Drag the mouse over to the link that looks prettiest to you and click. Come on ... you can do it ... !
I did a bit of research on the voice acting in Legends, since it was actually GOOD for a change. I discovered some interesting facts about some of the voice actors ... read about them in the character section!) I'll add more to this page as I think of shtuff...any requests? I'd be happy to comply!
