SMALL WORLD

PRODUCED BY: NASHIEM MYRIC AND CARLOS BROADY
This production is tight, probably the best production on the LP. The combo a the prodcution and NAS's narration of the story of Carolyn and the relationship they shared is definitely hot, even the simplistic chorus is not a problem.

PRODUCED BY: L.E.S.
I am not a fan of Texas gangsta rap, and not a Scarface supporter either, but Brad Jordan, aka Scarface hangs nicely with NAS. I was surprised at Scarface's versatility and ability to keep up. Scarface's presence was a good choice on the side Nasir, and it pays off well. The only problem I had was with the jewelry box-type production and the She-sells-seashells-by-the-seashore tongue twista chorus.

FAVOR FOR A FAVOR (FEATURING SCARFACE)

WE WILL SURVIVE

PRODUCED BY: THE TRACKMASTERS
NAS's acclaimed open letter to BIG and Tupac. The ditty-bop production is classic Trackmasters but doesn't take away from NAS's rhymes as he speeds up his delivery to compensate. Even the Kenny Loggins sample is welcomed. The decision to avoid the slow drone of "We'll Always Love Big Poppa" and "I'll Be Missing You" was best, as this track is more visionary, i.e. perfect NAS material. The track is a true gem and a testament to NAS ability to still hold it down.
