Chicago Advanced Police (CADP)

Chicago Advanced Police is patterned largely after their MegaTokyo counterparts. However, unlike ADP MegaTokyo, who can barely scratch their collective butt without GENOM's prior approval, CADP is mostly independent of the superconglomerate, and highly suspicious of them. Like most American police forces, CADP is far less trusting of big corporations than their Japanese counterparts, and far more willing to believe the average citizen. CADP is also much more *effective* than MegaTokyo ADP, and is willing to take more permanent measures to keep boomerperps off the street - the evidence of Boomer criminals on the warrant is enough to get headquarters to respond with mecha units, no questions asked, and to take on gangs, they'll often make note of the oft-overlooked crime of Boomer prostitution (i.e. "love dolls"), thus allowing them to use the heavy machinery.

It's often been said that the definition of an honest Chicago politician is one that stays bought. . .
