DOUG AND THE DEER
.
In the jungles of Africa,
so I am told,
Lives a big hunting cat,
both strong and bold.
The cat is a leopard, as
black as the night ,
And when it is hunting,
its a meanacing sight.
.
In patrol north-east, we
now have our own,
His name Doug Lepard, and
he works all alone.
This man is a hunter, who
rides in a car,
And when he is through,
he hangs out at the Marr.
.
The story begins, with our
Doug on patrol,
While approaching the bridge,
he started to roll.
When suddenly appeared,
a poor little deer,
Running real fast, in obvious
fear.
.
The deer kept on running,
out into the road,
And when Dougie observed
it, he just naturally slowed.
But it was too late, and
they hit with a thump,
And in that large car, it
was not much of a bump.
.
On cruised Lepard, not going
real fast,
While out on the roadside,
the deer breathed its last.
And so we are left, with
a stack of deer meat,
With nowhere to put it,
to keep the road neat.
.
Now since its Doug's kill,
to him goes the deer,
He can take it on home,
and eat with no fear,
And throw a big party, for
all of the men,
With barbecued deer, and
Cornish game hen.
.
And plenty of beer, for
us all to drink,
Of this great idea, now
what would you think.
If we run out, of the barbecued
meat,
We can give Doug a car,
and send him back on the street.
