Talia Cay Valencia's 8th Birthday Party

Talia's birthday party was held at her home last March and attended by a large number of her girl friends. The hit of the party was the ballet assistant instructor that came to the party. Dressed as the princess in Swan Lake, she told the children the story of Swan Lake, led the group in some ballet warm-up exercises, and put together a short performance for the girls to do. Then, when the parents came to pick up the young ladies, they were treated to a mini-Swan Lake performance.

Talia also performed in the local performance of Swan Lake this summer. She was in both performances of the ballet and did a fine job. The picture on the right is of her in costume.
