Talia is our oldest grandchild, the daughter of our daughter, Candy and our son-in-law, Derek. Above the little ballerina is practicing her steps for the big recital, Cinderella.

Talia is 8 years old, born in March of 1990. In the picture above, she is dressed as a "bluebell" from the ballet "Cinderella." Besides dance, she loves to play tennis; she takes piano lessons; and is a member of the "Brownies." She likes to come to Kitty Hawk and play on the beach. She enjoys playing in the surf on her boogie board and scouring the beach for treasures. Talia is quite a fisher person, too. One day last summer she caught 30 fish on the Kitty Hawk pier. (right) She is a big help with her brother, Taylor Chase Valencia.

This is Talia with her Spring Science Project ... she won a blue ribbon for her Solar System.	Here is Talia's latest School Picture. She was recently honored at her school for her outstanding character.	Talia and Taylor are sitting in the stairs in their home in Maryland, posing for Christmas pictures.
This little cutie (right) was caught by the camera at her brother's birthday party. Kewl hat, eh?
