Taylor Chase Valencia is our youngest grandchild, the son of our daughter, Candy and her husband, Derek. Taylor is 3 years old, born in July of 1995. He loves it down here in Kitty Hawk and enjoys going to the beach with his sister, and his mother. Taylor is enthralled by big trucks and construction equipment, loves animals, and, like the rest of the family, loves to eat. Seems like he is eating from the time he wakes, until it is time to go to bed.

At the right he is "Trying to think, but nothing is happening....." He is standing on our deck overlooking the SeaScape Golf Course and the Ocean.   Taylor started pre-school this year but he only goes two days a week, for a couple of hours in the morning. In the following picture, Taylor is seen with the rest of his family, around the campfire on an outdoor outing this summer.

This is Josh -- a friend of Taylor's -- and Taylor (below) accompanying us to a local nursery. For some reason, they wanted me to take a picture of them "showing their tummiers."		Christmas was pretty special for Taylor this past year. He was old enough to know what was going on. Here he is wearing the velvet jacket Doris made for him.
