Introduction on Slayers

Originally "Slayers Special" (SP), it was followed up by "Slayers" novel, then "Slayers the TV series (air date of 1995), "Slayers Next", and "Slayers Try" (air date of 1997-1998 ?) For US fans, Software Sculptors has the rights to the "Slayers" while ADV Films has the rights to the Slayers Special movies. Slayers Special is a manga written by Hajime Kanzaka with illustrations by Rui Araizumi, which continues as a montly publication in Dragon Magazine. The lead character is a loud mouth, small breasted, teen sorceress named Lina Inverse who's power is almost stronger than her appeite. Almost. Together with her friends Gourry, Zelgadis, Amelia, and sometimes Xellos, Filia and Sylphiel, they travel the world looking for treasures, a cure for Zelgadis, and good food! In Slayers Special Lina is younger, and traveling with Naga the Serpent, looking for treasure, and good food!
