This site based in Germany offers English language information on Taiwan.
We offer political and historical background information, current news,
search functions, suggestions for further reading and extensive links,
where you can find practical information on tourism,
studies in Taiwan, application for visa, work permits etc.

We are continuously extending the contents of this site,
so please feel free to drop in again later!

Based on the principle of self-determination one of the aims of this site is also
to rally support for Taiwan and further understanding of Taiwan's position in a
difficult international environment resulting from the widely practised
discriminatory so-called 'One-China-Policy'.
