The ninth and final stage of the Rás took place without incident. The route was a Crit in Dublin city centre. It was won by Peter Van Hoof of Belgium, with Holland's Pelle Kil in second, and Paul Griffin in third. The overall winner of the race is Philip Cassidy, 16 years since he won it first.
