George and Mariah died on the same day. Family word-of-mouth indicates that George was shoveling snow by the mail box near the road. He collapsed. Mariah ran through the snow either barefoot or in stocking feet and died the same day. Both rest together in the Wilson Creek Baptist Church (former Antlers Church) on hwy 61 in Knox County, Indiana.

George and Mariah had two set of twins in their family.
