When the Hanson's and Northern Lights got to the auditorium, 
the girls went on the stage and the rest of the Hanson family sat 
down in the front row. 
	"Hello," said Beth, "I'm Beth." 
	"I'm Kate." 
	"And I'm Kristin." 
	They each took turns introducing themselves. 
	"We held this press confrence tonight to alert America and 
the world," Kate started.
	"Because of the dealth of our parents, the past month has been 
very hard for us," Kristin said, then she continued, "and we are 
resigning from the music business." 
	"As of March 1st, 1998, the band know as Northern Lights no 
longer existes. We ask that all merchandise and CDs be taken off the 
shelves by March 1st," said Beth. 
	"We also ask that our songs not be played on the radio after 
March 1st," Kristin continued. 
	"We will be returning to Minnesota and staying with foster 
families until we graduate from high school. If you have any further
questions, you can reach our manager, Micki, at any of the Mercury
Records in the U.S.," Kate ended. 
	They then turned and walked off the stage. The whole crowd 
was stunned. Especially Isaac, Taylor, & Zac.
