The girls each got sent to a different foster family. It was 3 AM and Beth was scavaging around her bedroom. She took her backpack and two big Adidias duffle bags, packed all of her clothes, then jumped out the first story window. She ran until she was at the bus depot. "How close to Tulsa can I get with this?" Beth asked the ticket seller as she set $75 on the counter. "You can get to Kansas City, Misouri," said the clerk. "That's all? I can't get any further? I can't get to Tulsa?" Beth asked. "Sorry, now would you like to go to Kansas City?" asked the clerk. "Yeah, I guess," said Beth as she took the ticket and got on the bus.
The next day, around 8 am, the Hanson's recieved a call. *Ring* *Ring* *Ring* "Hello," said Diana tiredly. "Diana, this is Kristin. Beth's gone!" Kristin screamed while crying. "Kristin, settle down, now where is she?" asked a worried Diana, by that time the whole house was awake and in the kitchen listening to Diana's side of the conversation. "We don't know! Tom and Julie woke up this morning and she was gone!" Kristin screamed. "Ok, Walker & I will be there in a little bit to help look for her. I have to go now ok? Bye," said Diana. "Mom, what was Kristin calling at 8 am for?" asked Zac. "Beth's foster parents woke up this morning and she was gone," said Diana as Taylor walked into the kitchen. "What?! Beth's gone! Where is she? Is she alright? Did she run away? Did somebody kidnap her?" asked Taylor getting worried. "Honey, no one knows where she is or if she's alright, but your father and I are going to take the younger kids to Minnesota as soon as posible and you 3 can stay here in case she calls. Alright? Taylor, don't worry. We'll find her." said Diana confedentally.
