After diner, Beth walked around and talked to her friends some more.
"Taylor, is there a game room around here?", asked Nate. "Um...Yeah,
it's down the hall, first door to the left." "Hey, Beth come on. They
have a game room set up!"Nate said as he grabbed her arm and led her
to the game room. "Hey Tay! Who's that with Beth?" Zac asked. "I
don't know, but I'm following them." "K, Beth & I against Rick and
Megan", said Lindsay. "Aw, man! I was on Megan's team last time, and
she doesn't even try! We lost so bad", said Rick. "Fine, then let's
watch Veggie Tales." said Chris. They sat up against the wall. The
order was Joel, Chris, Nate, Rick, Lindsay, Sara, Lydia, then Beth.
Most of the other people didn't want to sit by the wall because they
knew what would happen. "OK. Boys against girls. Who ever can knock
down the other team first wins." said Lindsay. Beth turned her back to
the crowd, put her feet against the wall and started pushing. "Hey!
That's not fair! You have a wall." said Joel. "It's perfectly fair.
You guys are made of stone!" Beth replied. "True", said Rick. "Oh!
Larry Stupid Songs are on!" yelled Lydia as a cucumber came on the
screen and sang,"I say, hey, cut that out! And close my eyes and
smile. Oh God is bigger than the Boogie Man, He's bigger than Godzilla
or the monsters on tv." Then everyone started singing the wacky song,
"So tell me about you childhood. Well it all started when I saw Aunt
Ruth. She had a beard. And that's too bad, I might get mad." By then,
they were all dancing around the room. When Beth, Lindsay, Lydia &
Rachel sat on the couch, just to hear "Get down!" from Rick. (A.N.
Beth'sguy friends are big time skaters, they like to practice their
moves by jumping over couches.) Just then Rick dove over them. "Oh,
not this again!" said Beth. "No Beth, now they can do a 360 without
landing on anybody." said Lindsay. Just then Nate jumped over them and
did a 360. Taylor & Zac walked in the room at this time. Zac was more
hyper than usual and he was being really crazy and trying to make
people laugh. When he made his jokes and impressions, nobody laughed.
Beth gave him a mean look, so he left the room.
