OK I honestly don't think I can tell you guys
everything or how I got in to meet the GOOs but
I'll start from once I was in!!!!!
We got our VIP passes and only had to wait a few
minutes before they took us behind the curtain
into this back room. We waited right at this door
while the person that was taking us went inside
to see if they were ready or not. There was a guy
standing outside the door and he must've been
someone important. I looked inside the rather
small room and saw these little bags of potato
chips on the counter. I saw the reflection of
John in the mirror and I saw Robby sit down in a
chair kind of by the door. He looked out at us
and smiled. Then John turned around and faced me
and walked out the door to talk to that guy
standing there. He turned around and said Hi to
me and then he had his back to me and all I
remember was looking at his tattoos and looking
down at his legs cuz he had these nicker shorts
on. Well then they let us inside and they were
all just standing in a row. Robby, John, then
Mike. The person introduced us and they smiled
and said HI. John shook my hand and then I shook
Mike's (who seemed that he wasn't even expecting
that) and then I shook Robby's hand. I guess my
friend said a few things to Robby but I was
talking to John. I told him we saw them at the
Visalia concert and he said that he remembered
that show cuz it was the last one of that tour.
At that point, we scooted in to take the
pictures. I squeezed in next to John. And my
friend stood next to Robby. They took the first
picture before we were ready and John kinda
laughed and was like Oh well for that one. But my
arm was around him and his arm was around me!!! I
couldn't believe it. It was kind of awkward cuz I
just wanted to really put my arm around him
tightly but you know. Next time!!!!!! And they
didn't have time to sign autographs but that's Ok
cuz technically I already have one. I can't tell
you the story behind that but I have an
autographed CITY OF ANGELS cd. It says TO LESA!
then all their names. I cried when I got
that!!!!!! Anyway, we all said nice to meet you
and everything and then we left but we got to
stay up in the balcony so we got the best
seats!!!!! At one point, John looked up toward
the balcony and put his arms out like How are you
guys doing up there? My friend and I both stood
up and waved and he gave us a big smile!!!! And
the guy sitting next to us was like That was so
cool. He was looking right at you guys too! It
was amazing. Then when it was over, we were
wondering if they were going to come back out but
while they had part of the curtain open, I did
see Mike with a hat on and talking to some
people. And I saw Nathan walk from the entrance
back into the curtained area. He walked right
passed all of us! By the way, when the lights
first when down we peeked our heads over and saw
John, Robby and Mike kneeling down like they were
hiding so they could run up on stage when Dizzy
started! It was cool. Robby kept trying to fix
his hair! But back to John. Let me tell you,
nothing compares to the pictures or the stories
or how you feel or how you imagine John or all of
them to be until you actually do meet them. John
looked perfect. First of all his hair actually
looked really good that night. His face was
almost like porcelain. Like a model or a doll.
Which makes sense for such a GOO GOO DOLL!!! but
he's so gorgeous! I don't even remember looking
at his eyes to see how blue they really were. I
was mesmorized by him, in general. I looked at
his legs, his tattoos, and his mouth and lips I
couldn't take my eyes off. I still can't believe
it. I look at all the pictures in my room and
just can't wait till I get the pictures back so I
can enlarge them and make copies and hopefully
let you guys all see them. Although I'll have to
use a different computer and have someone help me
do it. So that was that and I'm sorry I couldn't
tell you more. I'll just live throught that night
forever in my mind and I can't wait to tell all
my friends. Sorry this is so long but I know you
guys probably won't mind! I think I'll be on
