The Legend Of The White Buffalo Calf Woman

UTE POEM
I am the woman who holds up the sky...
The rainbow runs through my eyes..
The sun makes a path to my womb...
My thoughts are in the shapes of clouds
But my words are yet to come...
I dedicate this page to my dear Mother, Bright Eyes (Vera May Kathcart), and to all the brave Native American women of all tribes...
I just had to share these stories about the great and brave women of all tribes... I felt in my heart the pride and courage that the Great Spirit gave to them...
When you read these stories, I hope they touch your hearts the way they did mine..
Are they trying to tell us something?? I think they are... I think the time is coming that we will all see a great change come over the world..
And people once again will listen and believe that your God and the Indian's Great Spirit is one and the same...
So take notice of these stories and judge for yourself... May they touch your hearts, minds and souls the way they did mine...
From the grave, they are calling us to listen.. to understand... and to see...
Peace to all..
