"Of course." Said Jade. She leaned over and gave him a soft kiss on the lips, whispered another thank you in his ear, and then said "Come on, lets play!"

The three boys picked up their instruments and got ready to play. For today, Jade was going to be the lead singer, until they’d had a chance to see what would be best for the band.

Taylor was absolutely glowing as he played the first few notes for MMMBop. Then Jade begun to sing. Her voice was like Taylor’s only more feminine, and with a bit of an edge to it. It sounded like a childish version of Alanis Morissette.

After almost two hours of playing they had decided what they would do. Jade and Taylor would share the lead on most songs, except of course for the ones that Ike and Zac did lead on. Taylor would sing lead on some songs, and Jade would on others, depending on the type of song.

Seeing as it was a Sunday they didn’t have to do any school work, so after they had practiced they decided to take a break and go down to the amusement park. It promised to be an afternoon of fun.

They all packed into Diana’s car and with Isaac driving made their way down to the park. It was only a half hours drive, although it would have been shorter had their not been so much traffic.

They arrived at the ticket booth and paid their fee. "Hey, you’re………nah!" said the attendant. He watched them leave. "I could’ve sworn that was Hanson!" he said to the next group in the line.

"It was." Said the girls flat out. "Now hurry up and give us our tickets." Said one of the girls, rudely. They got their tickets and hurried after the boys and Jade.

After three rides Jade realized they were being followed and pointed it out to the other three. They were at a table in the café, and the bunch of girls were sitting at a table two over, giggling, whispering and pointing at the bunch, but mainly Taylor.

They were shooting dirty looks at Jade. "Sheesh, if looks could kill, huh?" she said aloud. "Hey Taylor, play along with me okay?" she said. She scooted right next to Taylor, grabbed his hand and rested her head on his shoulder.

Surprised and embarrassed, but still willing, Taylor and Jade acted the part of a happy couple. But as Sheryl Crow sung in her song ‘All I Wanna Do’ they were dangerously close to one another.

The girls all got up and came to the table. Still giggling, one girl shoved a pen and paper under Tay’s nose and asked for his autograph. Once she got it, she said haughtily, "Come on, girls." Then surprising everyone, she planted a kiss on Taylor’s lips, and marched off, purposely tossing her blonde hair in Jade’s face.

"Whew, now that’s a first." Said Taylor. But then he turned around and planted a kiss on Jade’s lips. The girl shot him a venomous look, and crumpled the paper up and shoved it in the band. Then she batted her eyelids at another guy, and walked over to him.

After that little episode, they all decided it was time to head for home. Jade and Taylor remained holding hands.
