"Sowing Seeds Earthweek Festival" is a Non-Profit
Public festival licensed by the City of Boulder, Colorado. It
appeared in Boulder's Central Park on April 18 & 19, 1998 as
"Sowing Seeds Festival Weekend" and is scheduled for exhibition
again, in 1999. "Sowing Seeds" is designed to link several activist
communities together and cojoin the two holidays of
"Earthday", April 22 and the countrywide "420"-spiritual and
political Cannabis rally & worship, April 20.
The Bandshell, North lawn, Center lawn, and South lawn,
of the park; were rented out and adorned, with various tents, stages,
and eclectic performances, and diverse vendors. The estimated cost of
the entire event, was approximately $3000.00; and the money collected
for the event, was approximately $800.00 less than the cost. The
members on the Board of Directors; supplemented the balance out of
their own pockets.

provided the Entertainment, some sponsors, and the board of directors
meetings.
"Earthweek"; produced by the "City of Boulder" and the
"Naropa Institute"; gathers environmental groups and public school
projects together; including the "Children's Collage Art Museum."
