For those of you that don't know (most of you) my real name is Ross Mandin and I live in Australia where, I have finished school!! wahoo! only uni to go ;). In case you were wondering (as if you paid attention :) my nick Hurakan is from a legend that I read about in a short story called "I Have no Mouth but I Must Scream". The Hurakan is a huge winged daemon that rides on the winds of storms like hurricanes and tornadoes. I thought the idea was really cool so I took it as my nick.

Just an update, I recently looked up Hurakan and I found this little definition...

  HURAKAN (Maya) God of thunderstorms and the whirlwind. His name gave us the word "hurricane." At the behest of his friend Gucumatz, son of the Sun and the Moon, Hurakan created the world, the animals, men and fire.

So there you have it.. I'm a god and I created the Earth :) doesn't that just give you a warm fuzzy feeling?
