SITI NURHALIZA - Adiwarna (SRC):

The songs in the album are rather ordinary. They are not spectacular at all, while the music is just your average simple production. However, since they are sung by Siti Nurhaliza, each song seems to breathe a different life. Really, this lady has the penchant of changing the ordinary into something different and fresh and nothing seems to go wrong when she sings.

The opening track, Purnama Merindu, which could have been a simple love song with many Malay hooks, has been transformed into more sophisticated ballad, thanks to Siti's powerful delivery. The only worry is, can she sustain the magic for the next few years? Some breathing space might be needed here.
