Mage is a game where your only limits are two things. The sphere stats, and your imagination. Sometimes even the sphere stats don't limit you because there are so many different ways you can use a sphere to duplicate an effect.
To create a character you will need a character sheet. However you will not need to download this sheet until you choose your Tradition (see below). You can download character sheets in PDF file format from White Wolf. That link takes you directly do the download page. To view the char sheets you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader. When I get time I should be able to make a generic char sheet to put up on here.
