Daydreams

"Ashlynn", Taylor murmered, brushing Ashlynn's thick blond hair over her ears. He pressed his nose into her neck, kissing it gently, again and again. She smells like roses, he thought happily to himself.

Ashlynn closed her eyes and sighed in pure pleasure. She pulled Taylor closer, so close she could feel the faint beat of his heart. Taking his arms, she pulled them around her, wrapping them around her waist. Her own hands found his back, and she let her hands go, free to explore.

"Ashlynn," Taylor murmered again, "What are we doing?"

Ashlynn barely heard Tay, just continued to pull him closer. "I don't know," she whispered.

"I-I can't be doing this," Taylor stuttered, pulling away from her grasp.

Ashlynn looked at him, smiling. Her eyes looked sad, full of wonderment. "But you were."

"Y-yes," he stuttered again.

"Well, you have to finish what you started, right?"

Taylor looked into Ashlynn's eyes. Big green seas of eyes, waiting, wanting to be swum in. Her body... he noted whistfully, felt so perfect around his own. He wanted to be with her again, he did. He really did. But was it right? Taylor had other things to be thinking about, he couldn't go running off with some female he barely knew and forget his responsibilities. Yet there was a part, the other part of him that wanted to be spontaneous, that wanted to run off, that wanted to be with her, and forget his responsibilites.

"Okay," he whispered, and Ashlynn smiled, and pulled him to her once more.

"Taylor?"

"Not now, Ashlynn," Taylor muttered.

"Taylor!"

Tay jumped in surprise. Standing in front of him was his brother Isaac. Looking down, Tay could see his younger brother Zac rolling on the floor with laughter. Isaac leaned against the door frame, a smile on his face. "Nice daydream, Taylor?" he teased.

Tay blushed, his face turning a firey shade of red. Zac got up and proceeded to make smooching noises, hugging himself. "Well, whatever it was," Zac cracked, "it'll never happen in real life!"

"Zac!" Tay exclaimed, and threw a pillow at his brother's head.

Ashlynn sighed deeply and twirled her fingers around Tay's long locks. It felt so soft, it was almost like touching silk. It would be, Ashlynn thought to herself.

"Ashlynn?"

"Not now, Taylor," Ashlynn muttered.

"Ashlynn!"

Ashlynn opened her eyes to the sound of laughter. Standing before her was her best friend Nikki. Nikki pointed to Ashlynn's arms. Ashlynn looked down. She was holding her stuffed teddy bear, who happened to be covered in lipstick. Ashamed, Ashlynn threw Snuggles behind her.

"Nice daydream?" Nikki asked.

"The best," Ashlynn sighed, flopping down on her bed.

Nikki sat down beside her. "Well?"

"Well what?"

"Aren't you going to tell me about it?" Nikki demanded.

Ashlynn shrugged. "It was amazing," she smiled.

"Was he cute?" Nikki asked.

Ashlynn sat up straight, looking her friend in the eye. "He was the cutest boy I've ever seen, Nik. And it was so realistic, it was almost as if I was really there. It was almost as if ... he was REAL."
