for Violence Against Women

Family violence is a crime.
It often occurs at home, away from society's sight, yet emergency rooms and doctors' offices are filled daily with patients needing treatment for injuries caused by domestic violence.
Children are not the only family members who are abused.  Awarness and education regarding the signs of domestic violence is very important.  If you are experiencing any form of abuse or domestic violence, or know of someone who is...it is my sincere hope that these links give you some guidence and encouragement to seek assistance.

It's a good place to start.

Sexual Assault Information Page

Rape Recovery and Information Page
You CAN emerge from the trauma of rape a whole person.
It is not easy. You will not be the same person you were before the rape. You have been given
the opportunity to emerge stronger by living beyond what was done to you. It is important to
hear, and to believe that you are not at fault. No matter what you said, did, wore, acted, you
did not deserve to be raped. No one deserves to be raped.
This is an EXCELLENT site full of useful information.
