Nicole is scared of butterflies, though she's not scared of spiders or snakes.

Nicole injured her knee during the filming of Moulin Rouge and wasn't allowed time for it to heal properly. This prevents her from doing her exercise routine, which is to run 7 miles a day on weekdays and 10-12 on the weekends.

Nicole can indeed sing! She was part of a band in Austrailia when she was 17 called Divine Madness. Though her voice is very beautiful, she wishes she sounded more like Janis Joplin.

When her daughter was 3 or 4, Nicole designed and sewed clothes for her daughter. She loves designing kids' clothes.

Nicole has a great relationship with her parents and hopes to have the same kind of relationship with her kids when they grow up.

Nicole is a daredevil- she loves sky diving (though she's scared of small planes) and scuba diving.
