1. She's a great actress. She has the power to move people; she makes us cry, laugh and sigh.

2. She has a great singing voice that also has the ability to move people. I still cry when I listen to "Come What May".

3. She's independent.

4. Though so much has happened throughout the year, she makes time for the important things in life.

5. She pushes through pain. (e.g., during the filming of Moulin Rouge, she injured her knee, but kept going even though it hadn't healed.)

6. She can admit her flaws rather than hide them.

7. She's strong in the sense that she can fight off the press' probing questions about her divorce...very politely, of course.

8. She has a sense of humor.

9. She puts her kids first.

10. She knows what she's got to do, and goes for it.
