Introduction

Thank you for visiting my site. My name is Stanley J. Niles, orginally from a small town in Otsego County, NY, but currently working in Germany. I have always been interested in local history, and as of late genealogy. The data linked to this page orginated from material was collected by Lena J. (Teed) Niles, Ruby (Eells) Hills and Bruce T. Sherwood over the years. Lena and Ruby were my grandmother's from each side of the family, and Bruce was Lena's nephew. Through the generousity of other genealogy researchers and historians, I have also been able to add additional resources to this collection.

I don't know too much about the photograph's that you will view throughout these pages. I am looking for anyone one that can give me more information about the various views, or the history about the town's in general. I am particularily interested in Trout Creek, Delaware Co., N.Y. as most of my ancestors lived there at one time or another.
