On this page our target group(s) will find a comprehensive selection to satisfy business and educational needs :
Spreadsheet applications from the early PC days (running on nearly every thinkable platform - be it the original IBM PC, XT, 286 and 386 machines), under DOS and the earlier versions of MS-Windows ( 3.0, 3.1, 3.11 ) - but also for the latest Operating System versions.
Tutorials and Manuals for the major products
- but also a lot of stuff for the earlier packages incl. Help Files and
introductions, web site references etc. - however we start modest for today.
If you have machines running under the earlier versions of MS-Windows then the following FREEWARE package is ideal (it runs of course also under the latest versions) ;

This package is great and it runs also under Windows 3.1, 3.11.
Then we need some EXCEL tutorials - like the one from: www.knowwareglobal.com - a great site with many inexpensive but also FREE tutorials: excel.pdf
If you don't have a computer running under MS-Windows (maybe an older 286 machine with DOS) then you might welcome an integrated package from the early 90s with practically all the functions the MS-Windows based packages are offering.
We have here a tutorial for a package called FRAMEWORK. It was one of the first "integrated" packages in the eighties and runs also well on older DOS based machines. It might be ideal for you to teach your students the basics - this is what really counts - esp. if only older equipment is available.
This was my first integrated software package which I have used in several versions from 1984 until the early nineties.
Please keep in mind - and this is important for our target group: if you have only limited hardware resources and your students learn the basics using packages like this one they have a much easier start to get into the more modern software applications at a later stage.

- to build curricula which allow the students to progress. When using a
