In order to calculate the seasonal climatic changes on Earth, ancient Chinese Feng Shui Masters used a chart similar to the one below. The sample given, is just a small example and the years on the outer circle pertain to modern times.
Note that Jupiter is in the center because according to the Chinese, when the cycle starts over again, Jupiter and Saturn lines up. Since Feng Shui is about balancing the natural environment, all planets in our Solar System at one point are also balanced.
Earlier man related the heavens with all sorts of beliefs and when Astrology came into play it had been regarded as superstition rather than science however, I would challenge any scientist on the contrary.
How does this relate to us? Plenty. Just because we (humans) are intelligent does not mean that when natural occurrences happen in the heavens simply have no effect on us. There is a reason why Nature set this up like that and all life within is also effected by this.
