Watching the birds flying so high.....

Feeling the sun warming my skin.....

So glad another day is about to begin.....

Dreaming about days gone by......

Sometimes sitting and wondering why.....

Knowing it is better to let go of what might have been...

Grasping onto something bright and new again..

My eyes focused on a new and brighter beginning....

My dreams of yesterday fading into the distance...

Understanding now.......

That some battles just aren't meant for winning..

Lifting my eyes once again towards the sky....

No longer will I sit and cry......

I've shed my last tears...

For someone once held so dear....

Looking back no longer, cuz I feel so much stronger....

Going only forward into the sunny rays......

My eyes now seeing only brighter days......

I seem to see clearly now, so much pain now gone....

Smiling now.. never again will I run....

Cause here comes the sun.....
