lonely and scary.. my heart can feel void of all light....

My thoughts may seem bleak, thinking no one cares.....

From around the dark corners I sense nothing but stares....

Loneliness can surround me without loving arms around me....

Like a thief in the night my heart seems robbed of all light...

Mind beginning to wander to happier thoughts and days.....

Bringing a slight smile to my face....

Warmth radiating my body with sunshine rays.....

Grasping onto the warmth .... letting it envelope my heart..

My mind.... and my soul...

Peacefulness begins to reign over me now.......

Like a spring shower raining down on me somehow....

Out of the darkness of the night..

Suddenly I feel the darkness turn to light....

And the black turns to white.....

As I bask in the beauty..

Knowing I am free....

I'll never again......

Let the sun go down on me!
