VLSI Education Day

The VLSI Education Day (VED) is held every year as a part of the VLSI Design and Test Workshops. The intent of the VLSI Education Day is to bring together VLSI professionals in academia and industry and promote education, research and development in all aspects of VLSI in India.

In the past, the VLSI Education Day has included programs such as:

• Tutorials on VLSI related topics
• Industry exhibits and demonstrations
• Keynote speeches from eminent personalities
• Panel discussion on topics related to VLSI Education in India
• Invited talks from VLSI Professionals
• Short tutorials on current topics
• Book exhibition, IEEE/ACM booths, University booth
• Poster paper presentations from Indian Colleges
• Design contests for students

Fellowships are made available to teachers, students and research scholars from educational institutions to attend the VLSI Education Day and VLSI Design and Test Symposium.
Educational articles sent for the VLSI Education Day are published in the VDAT proceedings.
