2 Friday, Sept. 13, 2002
6:30 to 8:00 am
Coffee, tea, juice, bagels, assorted muffins and pastries ($3.00 per person
contribution) available in the Cambridge room. Full breakfast is
available in the hotel restaurant.
8:30 am
DEPARTURE for our short day's tour to Lowell, Mass to visit the National
Historic Site of the Boott Cotton Mills Museum with its restored 1870's mill
housing 88 operating power looms, interactive exhibits and video
presentations. We will hear about the dangerous work these very young
girls did.
We will visit the Working
People Exhibit which tells the human story of the Industrial Revolution.
Housed in a mill's boarding house, this exhibit explores the history of the
"mill girls" and immigrants, tells in their own voices, how these
women built their new lives in Lowell.
A delicious lunch is included, following this tour. $45.00 per person. We
should return to the hotel at approximately 2 pm.

3 Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002
6:30 to 8:00 am
Coffee, tea, juice, etc will be available in the Cambridge Room ($3.00 per person
contribution) Full breakfast is available in the hotel restaurant.
8:30 am
DEPARTURE for our full day's tour up the Coast to Ogunquit, Maine. A 1½
hour ride finds you in one of the most beautiful places in New England – the
small quaint community of Ogunquit.
We will board the
FINESTKIND and go lobstering with narrative by our Captain who will explain
lobster fishing and points we see along the coast as we move from pot to pot.
Lunch will be our LOBSTER/CLAMBAKE at Foster's
Clambake Pavilion in York Harbor, Maine. Entertainment is included – lobster
eating, music, humor, and most of all fun. Return to the hotel will be closer
to 4 pm. $60.00 per person
Evening is free to enjoy
the company of friends.

4 Sunday, September 15, 2002
6:30 to 8:00 am
Coffee, tea, juice, etc. will be available in the Cambridge Room ($3.00 per person
contribution) Full breakfast is available in the hotel dining room.
8:30 am
DEPARTURE for a short day's tour to Salem and Marblehead. We will visit
the Peabody Essex Museum with its great history of the area as well as the
world and the Phillips Memorial Trust House located in the heart of beautiful
Chestnut Street, Salem.
We will witness wonderful, historic Salem then move on to Marblehead with its
gorgeous harbor filled with its hundreds of sailboats, yachts.
You will be on your own for lunch at Pickering Wharf, a wonderful area with
many shops and all manner of restaurants. We will return to the
hotel around 2 pm. $40.00 per person
6:00 pm
COCKTAILS and light hors doeuvres. (Cash bar)
7:00 pm
The MIDDLESEX COUNTY VOLUNTEERS FIFES AND DRUMS will present the colors. 7:30
pm dinner will be served. There will be music for dancing. A cash bar will be
open all evening. $50.00 per person

6:30 to 8:30 am
Beverages and pastries will be served in the Cambridge Room. ($3.00 per person
contribution) Full breakfast is available in the hotel dining room.
