ALL about Copenhagen - Part 3

Finally it was over. They went off the stage, leaving an audience screaming for them to come back! - So they did.
And then Todd said - I remember it exactly! - "we've decided to play one of our oldest songs - "Raise Your Hands"". That was when I started crying for the second time! One of my favorite songs, and so heartrending!
But after that they were gone for good... that was at about 20 to 12.

-- So, voilà the complete set list:

(- At this place, a Thanks to Josey, she took the effort to note the set list!)

Having realized that that was it, we stood around not properly knowing what to do, until Monika said that she, Dieter, and one of the girls were going to see the boys and Stormy for another few minutes because Stormy would like to meet her, who does all the graphic things for the fanclub. She asked us others to go to the corner near the other café and wait there. Ok. So Nicki, Josey, Chrissy and I were the first ones to make for the corner.
Halfway there, Josey suddenly turned around, I saw that out of the corner of my eye. I still remember this moment all clear!
So the rest of us turned round as well - and there was Stormy who had run after us, and asked us what we were going to do. In the next half of a second, I realized that somehow none of the other three answered, so I did: "We were supposed to meet Monika at the next corner...", or something like that, and wondered how I got this "supposed" at that moment - after all that's advanced English, and standing in front of us was DBS' tour manager in person!! And by the way that was about the only time during the whole evening that I wondered how I got my English together in sentences that even made some sense...

Because the next thing he told us was that we should go to the corner and see if there were others of us, and then come back with them. We did, there was no one... So we joined the others again inside the Café. We were all crowded right from the door [4], and then we were led up those stairs [2]. One floor, another floor, on which we stopped. Monika was about to go on walking stairs but before she called down the staircase and asked, while Chrissy, Josey and I intended to let the others pass by, and therefore went a bit away from the stairs... and were standing in front of a big white sliding door. Then we were told to open this door!! I immediately said "I won't do that! I won't!"

So Josey did... A big room. A big table. Some chairs. Todd sitting there. And Clay. And Toby. And John. And Todd said with a big smile "Hi! Come in... take a seat...". And Josey and me and Chrissy had to enter the room as the very first ones!
Finally we'd all sat down. No one dared to speak. I suddenly noticed the mess on the table: paper tablecloths, doodled on them, half-emptied bottles of all kinds, mugs, crumbs... So I asked: "Have you done all this mess?" which Todd answered with yes. Then some other questions were asked... wiser ones. Josey asked Toby what he'd actually studied at the UNT. He answered something we didn't properly understand - either it was something about massage, or body-building, or sports.
Then Stormy brought this camcorder - yes, exactly that one, from the "Home"-Tour vid. Todd took it and probably intended to film round the whole room one time. But I, as one of the first ones being caught by the lense, I said, half laughing "no, not me! Not me! Please!"; I easily decided that I don't like being filmed by my favorite band!
And Todd put the camera down on the table, and turned that small screen around so that I could see that I was exactly on it! Mean! Then he asked me: "Ok, what's your question?" - "I haven't got a question." - "Are you sure you don't have any question?" - until I had an idea, and said: "Ok, I've got a question: Why don't you turn that camera on another one?" (Literally. I've thought about it a hundred times and that probably it would have been right with "why don't you turn that camera on someone else" or something like that...!) - Everyone laughed. Embarrassing!!

Did you know that Todd is left-handed? Chrissy asked him why he played the guitar like he was right-handed, and he said "that's a very good question"- leaving Chrissy looking all proud -"not many people notice it actually... But that's the way we always saw it on television, so we got used to it like that. - By the way, Clay is left-handed as well."
And she asked Toby why he got off the wrong side of the horse in the "Breakfast" vid. He reacted all indignant, but in a real cute way that, and pointed out: "It wasn't me! They made me get off like that! Those New Yorkers don't know about such things!"

Some time we weren't all just sitting there anymore. The others had their fanclub t-shirts signed so I took mine (I had put it on over a pullover) and let Todd sign it on the back; I wanted to have the autographs on the back. As next one I saw Toby on the other side of the table, so I called "Toby", and showed that I intended to throw the t-shirt over to him; he got that. Ok... Well, accidentally I threw it a little too high. He could have caught it if he hadn't had about 5 bottles of beer before our eyes, or probably actually even more, already. So he did not manage to catch it before it landed on... he had to pick it off... his head! I got such a shock, caught between laughter and regret I immediately shouted "Oh, sorry! I'm so sorry!!" My goodness!!
I didn't pay attention to what he did so he signed at the front, but I asked Clay, John and Stormy to sign the back again.
