The SWF3 NewPop-Festival

The NewPop-Festival is an annual music festival with 10 bands held in autumn for three days. It's organized by SWF3 (which is a local radio station in southwest Germany; now named SWR3 since in Aug '98 it has merged with another radio and TV station named SDR), supported by some big companies, and it features bands who are in the (German) charts for the first time.

DBS were there in 1996, when it lasted from September 19 to 21, together with the Bluetones, Faithless, Moloko, Dubstar, Olive, Patti Rothberg, Kula Shaker, the Fugees and Dreadzone.
The bands play their full-length concerts on different stages, three or four per evening.

I've translated the texts concerning DBS and have written to SWR3 for the copyright. After patiently waiting for any answer, I came to the conclusion that they don't seem to disagree with me publishing the English texts, so here we go.

General personal comment: I attached importance to a fairly literal translation.
