As an undergraduate at the University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia, U.S.A., I found this particular book on the 6th floor of our Main Library, in the Religion/Philosophy section. Except for the numbers preceding the title of each letter, the placement of footnotes directly below the paragraph where they were referenced, and the exchange of footnote numbers for stars "*", I have copied EXACTLY letter-for-letter and word-for-word the ENTIRE book. I modified NOTHING.

The aqueduct that Pilate constructed has been found by archaeologists. In the book "The Bible and Archaeology" by J. A. Thompson, cpyrt. 1962, pg. 333 it says:
"The only two springs of any value in the whole area lie on the eastern side[of Temple Mount]. These are Gihon and En-rogel. With the shifting of the city[Jerusalem] to the west, arrangements had to be made to bring water into the city by aqueduct or to store it in cisterns. Pontius Pilate (A.D. 26-36) constructed an aqueduct for this purpose, although there is some evidence that he may have repaired an old one."
