Mac passed away as the result of a massive heart attack on September  9, 2001 on his way back home from the Vietnam Veterans Reunion in Kokomo, Indiana.  A few of us had the pleasure of being with Mac at the 39th IPSD Camp-out/reunion the previous weekend in South Carolina. His beloved Diablo was put down on December 16, 1966. They are finally together again. Rest in peace, my friend! Last photo of Mac - Sept 3, 2001
