This WebQuest was created in an effort to challenge my 7th grade 

students by having them learn how to use the internet to conduct 

research.  I threw in a curve ball by having students learn how to 

present their findings by way of PowerPoint slides and Streaming 

Video clips.

Creating this WebQuest and executing it the way I intended for it to 

be executed was at times challenging.   This was truly a project filled 

with trial and error.  Due to various reasons, at times, I had to search 

for additional links.   The more advanced students assisted me in searching 

the internet and finding appropriate links which were then added to the site. 

With this being my first ever WebQuest, I wasn’t quite sure how students 

would respond to research using the internet as opposed to the old fashion 

way of utilizing the library and its resources.   I must say, students took 

this method of research much more seriously.
