Stopping the Stork was published in two editions (20,000 copies) in 1944.  It discreetly deals with the topic of childbirth from a practical, Biblical perspective.  Dr. Shadduck is against birth control, considering children a blessing from God (within marriage, of course), and is yet cautionary against reckless abandon in this matter.
