Published in March, 1928, all cartoons in this booklet are by Alden except one by P. H. Kadey (not featured here).  An additional illustration by Edwin B. Wallace (not featured here) was added in the second and third editions (1942 and 1944, respectively).  The cover to the first edition was a light tan, but otherwise the same.  "Gee" and "haw" are commands that a driver would give to a team of horses to go right and left, respectively.
