The Florida Scrub Jay
We share our home in the Ocala National Forest, with these animals whose Seminole names are shown in bold: Florida Panther - coo-wah-chobee, Black Bear - nogoshe(?) Deer - ee-cho, Turtle - yok-che, Owl - o-pa and Raccoon - wood-ko, one who rubs.
