Who is Jim? Just Jim. You'll get to know me a little bit better here on this page.

I'm Jim, the youngest of five children. (or next to the youngest of ten counting stepchildren) In my original family there are two boys and three girls. (Mothers' first two girls, Erma and Betty died at birth)The step kids were three boys and two girls. None of up paired up. We were too much like brothers and sisters.
All the kids from the top are; Buddy, Big James,( I'm Little James) Mickey, Shike, Bobby, Betty Jo, Joan, Floyd, me and Joyce.
During the 60s and between marriages I traveled the western states with 'The Argons',a Country Music band from Northern California and had several other bands including,'Jim and the Hard Times' and 'Half Fast Country.'
In the early 80s my wife, Donna, and I briefly owned a night club. She tended the bar and I played music and drank beer and vodka. It was a great setup while it lasted 'chuckle'but all good things must come to an end!

My Angel Rebecca

I always hated school and at age thirteen I ran away from home in California and went to work for my brother-in-law in the West Texas oil fields of Odessa, Texas as a roustabout.

I drove my first truck at age 13.

I worked as a musician, mostly as the lead singer in my bands. I drove my own trucks long line for Bekins Van Lines and West Coast Truck Lines.

I spent three years in the US Army in the fifties. That's where I met and married the first time. My first wife, Maggie, and I had four kids; Rebecca, Lorado, Margaret and Veronica. My Angel, Rebecca, has since gone to be with God.

My second wife, Donna, had two children, Barry and Tracey.

My other children are; Jamie Colleen, Dirk Allen, Jayme Louise and the twins, Theresa and Laura. Their Mothers are all fine women.

This is my Angel Rebeccas' first picture. She was born august 14, 1956, when I was in the Army. She died on January 1, 2001, at age 44. God is happier and better off now with her presence in Heaven. I may post My Talks With God later on.

I will show more pictures of Rebecca and the other kids as I add more pages at another time.

Now I will give you a sample of my poetry.

This is a poem I wrote in 1987 at Shingletown, Ca. I just wanted to write a poem. It took less than 20 minutes.

How Great Can This Love Be

How great can this love be that breaks your heart but leaves you smiling through your tears
And tells you, " Find another and the pain and sorrow you will soon forget."

If putting on a smile and saying,"Soon I'll find another one to Love,"
will get you through the tempest then, believe me, child, you haven't known love yet!

Here is a cutie called; The Frog

While walking by a pond one day to see what I could see,
I chanced to spot a little frog a'looking up at me.

He climbed onto a lilly pad and hopped up on a log!
Not everyday one gets to see a climbing, hoppy frog.

At first he looked so very sad but then I saw him grin.
I reached right down to tickle him but frogs don't have no chin.

And so I bade him fond farewell, I must be on my way,
I'll see you if I chance to pass this pond again someday!

See you on the next page!!
