GLENRAVEN: FAERIE TALE

he legend of the Standing Stones states that the ancient Druids of Scotland would escape at the witching hour to the ruins and use it as a place of worship for their gods.

One mysterious and dark night a woman dressed in a violet gown appeared before them. The woman's beauty and mysterious entrance made the Druids believe that she was a Goddess conjured by their rituals.

The woman explained to the Druids that she was the Faerie Queen Deianeira from the world of "Glenraven". The Queen told them that these ancient Standing Stones are a gateway into her world.

Deianeira appeared to the Druids on several occasions. One night, she came to them with fear in her heart. The Queen told them that her world was in turmoil and the people who caused it were a race known as the "Magi". The Druids asked her to take them into her world to assist her and Deianeira agreed.

One of the Druids remained behind and upon one of the stones in the center of the circle he carved in the ancient language, the story of the Glenraven, the Faerie Queen and the Druids. When it was translated it read

"For those who are the brave at mind, And wish to leave their world behind. Glenraven awaits your arrival, The magic within you will show you the way..."
