Range Rover: The Complete Story

Range Rover: Purchase and Restoration Guide

Range Rover : A Collector's Guide

Covers all models of Alliance, Encore, Fuego, Gordini, LeCar R-12, R-15, R-17, R-18, R-18i and SportWagon.

For Renault enthusiasts and all those who want to know how, from modest beginnings, Renault became one of Europe's foremost car-makers, this fact-filled photographic record celebrates the 100 year history of Renault cars and the company that made them. Hector Mackenzie-Wintle has brought together a varied and revealing collection of often rare historic photographs to tell this remarkable story from 1898 when Louis Renault laid the foundation for this controversial French car maker to today's latest Renault models.

Compiled with the full cooperation of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd., this book illustrates all Rolls-Royce models produced since 1904, and all Bentleys built since 1933. Nearly 300 black-and-white photographs offer close-up detail views, while comprehensive data includes the history behind each model, technical specifications, and chassis numbers. From tiny, turn-of-the-century 10-horsepower vehicles through today's luxury automobiles, this is one of the most thorough histories of the legendary British automaker available anywhere.

The Rolls-Royce and Bentley, Vol. 1

Aside from their radiator grillwork, very little distinguishes postwar Rolls-Royce and Bentley saloon cars from one another. This photo history covers the earliest of these postwar automobiles: the Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn; the Bentley Mark VI/R-Type; the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud I, II and III; and the Bendey SI, SII and SIII. Also included are the gorgeous coachbuilt Bentley Continental R and S Types.

Malcolm Bobbitt's new illustrated history gives a revealing account of the car's postwar past, looks at its unique approach to car-making and assesses the extraordinary cars that have confirmed its long-standing reputation for excellence. His narrative explains the move of the company's car production from Derby to Crewe just after the war and takes the story through the successful 1950s and 1960s. He recalls the near bankruptcy of the company in the 1970s and its subsequent recovery, and finishes with a description of the company and its remarkable cars today. The recent sale of Rolls-Royce to Volkswagen is referred to in the introduction and in the last chapter.

Classic Rovers, 1945-1986: A Collector's Guide

Introduced in 1949, the Rover P4 represented comfortable and refined motoring for Great Britain's professional classes of the 1950s. By the time production ceased in 1964, the P4 had become an anachronism. Still, it had imbued Rover with a reputation for quality engineering and paved the way for the successful P5 and P6 models. Author James Taylor recounts the story of P4 conception, design, production, and automotive breakthroughs, from its rise to the rank of status symbol to its fall from favor. Illustrated throughout with black-and-white photographs and an eight-page color spread.

Rover P5 and P5B: The Complete Story

Designed to replace the ageing Rover P6, the modern-styled Rover has been built in several versions, with engines ranging in size from 2.6 to 3.5 litres. In many export versions, the SD1 was the last design from Rover before the company was taken over by Honda. Author Karen Pender describes the various SD1 versions and developments, and gives sound advice on owning and restoring, which, as a SD1 owner, she has plenty of experience with.
