11/21/14 I found this blog article over at Nerdvana about the cover of Hoard the Duck 23 which is a parody of the Star Wars Poster. 11/21/14 So this just happened. A new Howard the Duck ONGOING series was just announced. The series will be written by Sex Criminals artist Chip Zdarsky and illustrated by Joe Quinones who worked on the Black Canary and Zatanna series. I'm really excited about this, now that there will be a regular ongoing series I will be able to put up content ont this page on a regular basis.
10/24/14 I know it's from august but I just found it today. A little information for the escapist. It is a pretty concise history of Howard The Duck. Janson first worked for Marvel in 1973 on Black Panther, moving from there onto inks over Sal Buscema on The Defenders. "Klaus' pedrigee is the kind that other artists drool over,: said Joe Quesada, Marvel Comics editor-in-chief. "He's been playing with our characters longer than some of us have been on this Earth, and he knows 'em inside and out." Janson's projects have yet to be announced, but he said we ill be doing a mix of inking, penciling and writing. 07/05/04 Its been a long time since I reported any news...but here goes...... An action figure of the Silver Surfer was recently released and for some reason it also includes a small figure of Howard. The figure has no moving parts but is designed in the 70s look with the Donald Duck type bill and no pants!!!! Look for it on the shelves right now. 10/26/01 Marvel Comics recently announced that they are releasing an Essential Howard the Duck. This is a paperback black and white trade which will include Howard the Duck 1-27 & annual 1, Fear 19, Man-Thing 1& annuals 4 &5. These trades typically sell for $14.95 and we should see it sometime in December. 09/28/01 Steve Gerber now has an official web page.
