So this just happened. A new Howard the Duck ONGOING series was just announced. The series will be written by Sex Criminals artist Chip Zdarsky and illustrated by Joe Quinones who worked on the Black Canary and Zatanna series.

He was a brilliant comic writer and will be missed by all.

Updating Site........

Its been a real long time since I've updated the site. This is due to the fact of little time to work on the site and very little Howard stuff going on.........well until recently.

Right now a Howard the Duck Mini is being published at Marvel Comics. The first issue has already been released and the second is about to. I have not read any of this yet, but as soon as I do I will post here.

KLAUS JANSON EXCLUSIVE TO MARVEL

Artist Klaus Janson has signed an exclusive contract with Marvel Comics.

Janson first worked for Marvel in 1973 on Black Panther, moving from there onto inks over Sal Buscema on The Defenders.

"Klaus' pedrigee is the kind that other artists drool over,: said Joe Quesada, Marvel Comics editor-in-chief. "He's been playing with our characters longer than some of us have been on this Earth, and he knows 'em inside and out."

Janson's projects have yet to be announced, but he said we ill be doing a mix of inking, penciling and writing.

Its been a long time since I reported any news...but here goes......

An action figure of the Silver Surfer was recently released and for some reason it also includes a small figure of Howard. The figure has no moving parts but is designed in the 70s look with the Donald Duck type bill and no pants!!!! Look for it on the shelves right now.

Marvel Comics recently announced that they are releasing an Essential Howard the Duck. This is a paperback black and white trade which will include Howard the Duck 1-27 & annual 1, Fear 19, Man-Thing 1& annuals 4 &5. These trades typically sell for $14.95 and we should see it sometime in December.

Marvel recently anounced that a brand new Howard The Duck mini series is being released later this year. This new series is written by Steve Gerber and is part of the Mature Reader line.

You might have noticed that the counter had been set to zero recently, well with over 9,000 hits so far, my web host (homepage.com also know as altavista appear to no longer host free web sites, funny thing is that they never told me, so I have moved everything to tripod.com which has 50 megs of space and this is going to prompt me to make some changes to the site. Look for these changes in the near future.
