ON HIGH SCHOOL ACTING: I was afraid of joining the drama department because those were the unpopular kids.
HISTORY: When he was five years old his parents divorced and he moved with his mom and brothers to Denver, Colorado. It was in high school that he got hit with the acting bug. After graduating from Lutheran High School where he was a star athlete that played soccer, golf and was class president, his family moved to Sioux City, Iowa. There he studies acting at a community college and when he was 19 he came out to Hollywood. He trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, paying his way by doing different jobs and working on student films. He first appeared on screen on an MTV show, Undressed..
