star in THANKS OF A GRATEFUL NATION, an explosive fact-based drama which discloses
the U.S. government's denial and subsequent cover-up of troop exposure to toxic agents
during the Persian Gulf War. Directed by two-time Emmy-nominee Rod Holcomb
from a script by five-time Emmy-nominee John Sacret Young,
the film is executive produced by Tracey Alexander
and Andy
Adelson and John
Sacret Young. Steven Hewitt serves as co-executive producer.
The film follows different individuals who return
home from the Persian Gulf with mysterious illnesses that they pass on to their families.
Ted Danson stars as Jim Tuite, a former presidential Secret Service agent now working for
Senator Donald Riegle (Brian Dennehy),
who not only discovers how many veterans are affected by Gulf War Syndrome, but that the
U.S. government is trying to cover it up.

The controversial film is based on four years of
extensive original research and interviews with more than 100 veterans, relatives, members
of the medical community, Pentagon officials and Washington insiders, including retired
Presidential Secret Service agent Jim Tuite, Senator Donald Riegle, Congressman Steve
Buyer, and Steve Robertson, Director of the Legislative Commission for the American
Legion. Woven throughout the motion picture are filmed interviews with veterans and family
members attesting to their real-life experiences.
