Marion County 4-H Agent to use the emblem.
The mission of Camp Mar Mac is to create an outdoor
residential experimental educational facility for youth and their adult
mentors.
Camp
Mar Mac holds a special place in the hearts of many youth and adults, who
have attended week-long camps there. Situated in the geographical
center of Marion County, West Virginia, it is easily accessible from all
directions. The camp lies a short 15 minute drive from downtown Fairmont
but is magically tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the turn of
the century in a beautiful rustic setting reminiscent of days gone by.
Youth who spend a week at Camp Mar Mac are positively impacted in unique
ways . . . isolated from "today", they are able to give the experience
their full attention and learn much about how to survive, contribute, and
thrive in a caring world.
